This is a list
of the hotels where room blocks have been set up. The blocks will be dropped from
all the hotels on May 31. This should give you ample plans to make you plans
for next year! Final date for Kwaj Reunion hotel rates ends May 31, 2008.
Rooms may be available but not at the Kwaj Reunion rate.
All the hotels in the pod offer
many amenities. Pools, breakfasts, irons, ironing boards, coffee pots, etc. to
learn more about the hotels listed please visit them at their web sites. If you
encounter any issues in making reservations, please contact me at 719-26-9652.
Please choose what type of room you would like to reserve so the reservationists will
remove it from the block. We have some rooms reserved starting on the 31st. If
you wish to arrive earlier, let the reservationists know. They should be able to
make the reservation at the rates quoted. If you are looking at the web sites, all
of these hotels are on Commerce Center Drive. This should help you find the right
property. I rated the hotels from 5(best) - 1(worst) by the * next to each
hotel. There are 6 restaurants, a gas station and convenience store within walking
distance of the hotels.

EMBASSY
SUITES
Our host hotel is the Embassy Suites. ***** We
have 50 rooms with 1 king and 50 rooms with two queens. The rooms are all two
room suites, one room being the bedroom and one being the living room / kitchenette.
The living room has a sleeper sofa. All the rooms are very nice and include a
breakfast and evening cocktail reception with a two drink per person and hors de
oeuvres. The rate on the rooms is $129.00 plus taxes. To make reservations

This is where our Hospitality Room will be, a cocktail
RE-GET ACQUAINTED Cocktail Party and a banquet will be
held. The Embassy Suites also has a nice restaurant on the property.

STAYBRIDGE
SUITES
Staybridge Suites: **** This hotel offers three room
configurations. All of them are nice and comfortable. The rooms are 1 room
studios-$149.00, 1 bedroom suite with a sofa sleeper-$165.00 and the two bedroom suite
which has two bedrooms and a living room with kitchenette and a sofa sleeper in the living
room. The rooms have queen size beds-$259.00. Tax will be added to all the
rates. This hotel offers a beautiful balcony off the back of the hotel, continental
breakfast and hot dinners two or three nights per week. To make reservations call

HOLIDAY INN
EXPRESS
Holiday Inn Express: *** This property offers
standard rooms with either two queens or 1 king and suites with either 2 queens or 1 king
a kitchenette and a sofa sleeper. The rate on the standard rooms is $110.00.
The rate on the suites is $120.00. They also offer a morning breakfast. I have
reserved 5 of each of the room configurations. Ask for the "Kwaj."

FAIRFIELD
INN BY MARRIOTT
Fairfield Inn by Marriott: ** This property has the
smallest rooms of all the properties listed. They are nice, but small. All
rooms have 2 queens and have recently been upgraded. The rates are $109.00.
Twenty rooms have been reserved in the block. Call 719-533-1903. Again
ask for the "Kwaj." reunion when reserving a room. Visit their web

THE
HAMPTON INN
The Hampton Inn: *** The Hampton rooms offer
either 2 double beds or 1 queen. The rooms are decent sized. The rate is
$99.00. There are 10 rooms in each category. This property is also in the
process of being remodeled. They should have the renovation done in the next couple
of months. Call 719-593-9700. The "Kwaj." reunion is the code
for reservations. I do not have their web address.
MICROTEL
INN & SUITES
Microtel Inn & Suites: **** This property is the best
kept secret out there!!! The suites have a quaint configuration that is very
comfortable. The bedroom has a queen bed with the Serta posture pedic mattresses,
top of the line and the best pillows ever!!! (Yes, the sales manager let me try
them!) There is an island that divides the sleeping area from the living area.
The island contains a sink, refrigerator, microwave and storage. The television is
raised so that it can be seen from either room. The sofa is a queen sleeper.
The standard rooms have 2 queen beds and are slightly larger than the norm. They are
in the process of remodeling all the rooms; they will be completed in the near
future. A business center is being installed also. I was so impressed with the
sales manager. She was so proud of her property!!!! The rates are great:
$75.00 for the standard rooms and $89.00 for the suites. There is a block of 15 for
each configuration. They also offer handicapped rooms on the first floor. All
reservations for the suites are on the mountain side of the hotel as are some of the
standards. Call 719-598-7500. Ask for the "Kwaj." reunion when

the newly revamped rooms.
