In a word, in a prayer, through a song
In between a right and a wrong
Maybe it's a heart broken
From a word that was spoken
And a wish is made of goodwill
In cheering the heart when it is still
For the soul knows where the heart has been
Giving it wisdom from the spirit within
As Love comes from the heart
Where a wish hopes never to take it apart
A tear can bring us a smile
As laughter will stay with us for awhile
A simple look, a warm sigh, a heart in tune
Knowing love will be here soon
When a heart and wish are given
