Thomas Joseph Gross, age
55, died Sept 12th peacefully in his sleep. Tom was born on November
11, 1950 in St. Paul, MN to Elmer and Frances Gross who preceded him
in death. He is survived by one daughter, Julia Jean Maddox and two
granddaughters, Justine and Ariah. Tom
served in the Army from 1969 to 1972. He was in the Vietnam War
where he received the Purple Heart and numerous other medals. Tom
graduated with a Masters degree in Industrial Relations from the
University of Minnesota. He lived in Colorado Springs and Manitou
Springs since 1980. He was employed by the Minnesota and Colorado
Department of Labor for 30 years, as a Veterans Employment
Specialist. A Memorial Mass will be said at Holy Family Catholic
Church, 331 Main Street in Security at 9:00 a.m. Monday September
18th. Many thanks to all who offered their love, support and
prayers during Tom's illness. In lieu of flowers, please send
