| Angel was
born on August 31, 2007. She was one of seven from her
mother's litter. We obtained Angel just a day after Sadie's
passing, December 19, 2007. On December 20th, Jill found an ad
in the newspaper of Weiner dogs for sale. Jill called the owner's
wife and she informed Jill that her husband was in Colorado Springs to
deliver 2 dogs and had and extra one with him. The timing was right for us to meet the man before he
delivered the dogs. he let us have our pick out of the two he had, and Jill selected the one that had the same
markings and coloring of our late Sadie. While Jill was holding
our new Angel to be, she growled at me. We purchased Angel and
then we went to Jill's parents to share our new family member
and to surprise them. They certainly were surprised and happy.
On the way home, Jill mentioned to me that the Christmas tree
glowing on the mountain top looked much like an Angel. I
informed Jill that was what we'd name our new family member.
When we arrived home with Angel, we found that Sadie's aches had
also arrived. We brought Sadie and Angel into our home
together.
Our
love of Sadie and her spirit will live on through Angel. |
